PURPOSE

        The Petaluma High School's Music Boosters is an organization set up to help with all aspects of the PHS Music Department's financial needs. Many of the parents who have a child in the music department, as well as a few students, are involved in the boosters, making money for the different music classes to spend on trips to competitions, new instruments, and the amount that it costs to enter competitions. The main reason that the music boosters exists is to better organize and network the spending of the money raised. The parents involved deal with all aspects of the transportation to competitions, the band and choir uniforms, and other important needs, therefore assisting the instructor, Mr. Eveland, in keeping the band and choir functioning.
